I can't get pressure to increase

A few likely causes to check:

  1. Check to be sure the Pressure Adapter (fitting 1/8" tube is connected to) is installed in the 1st valve (middle output valve for SV.1999A's). To read spray/system pressure, the gauge must be installed between the pump and the pressure controlling device.
  2. The TIR Pressure Regulator requires 15 secs to rotate 90'. Hold the pressure switch in the up position, for about 15 secs and verify that the pressure reading changes. Once the pressure shows increasing, continue until the pressure starts to fall, then push the switch down to go back over the peak and start to decrease. That is the point where the butterfly is 90' to flow and blocking 97% of the flow back to tank. Lower pressure, set RMPS/pump speed, and dial in the needed system operating pressure from this point.
  3. If zero pressure/no gauge needle movement is showing after checking the previous two, disconnect the line at the Pressure Fitting and check to see of the pressure fitting has a small 1/8" hole into the flow of the 3/4" ID of the fitting. TIR apologizes for not being 100% perfect over the last 30 yrs in finding and removing every fitting that has flashed over the hole at the molding operation. If found, carefully drill out with 1/8" drill - careful to not drill through fitting's opposite wall.
